Paper Moon

Sharon Whisnand’s mixed media art may include elements that suggest a landscape or may strictly use balance and color to create abstract patterns. With hand-painted papers, drywall tape, string, gesso, and even hot glue, a work of art is born.

"Paper Moon" measures 12x24 inches and features a moon made of crinkled aluminum foil and painted gold. The mountains are made from hand-painted papers with the middle layer painted gold, giving the suggestion of trees.  Lots of texture to love in this mixed media landscape. Sold in the frame shown.
