Sharon Whisnand, an intuitive abstract artist, truly never knows which direction her art will take when she begins the creative journey. Beginning with no preconceived idea or subject in mind, she plays with lines, asemic writing, and areas of color while constantly turning her canvas to work on different areas. As the painting takes shape, she then refines its details to portray what she sees.
"Be Free" measures 24x30 inches and is the second painting, in a series of three, using the same palette of colors. With movement, drips of colors, marks--some made with the end of a paper towel roll dripped in paint--this painting represents loosening up and “letting go.” Sold with the frame shown.
This is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art. No prints or reproductions.
