Bayeux Waterwheel
Mark Holly’s digital photography fluctuates between high-definition, photorealism to leading-edge digital manipulation utilizing popular styles of expression. Mark's digital art is often considered edgy with bold colors, unique shapes, forms, and compositions. His photography gives a sense of being "in" the location yourself almost as if you could reach out and touch elements in the scene.
"Bayeux Waterwheel" is a high-definition image taken in the town of Bayeux, France. Bayeux was the first town liberated after D-Day in June of 1944. The town was left mostly intact since the allied forces did not have their air force on the mainland until days later. The town still flies the American flag today.
