Love

Sharon Whisnand’s mixed media art may include elements that suggest a landscape or may strictly use balance and color to create abstract patterns. With hand-painted papers, drywall tape, string, gesso, and even hot glue, a work of art is born.

"Love" measures 24x24 inches and features layers of texture created with torn pieces of a French poem, markings throughout, gesso, and washes and layers of acrylic in earth tones. Sold in the frame shown.
