Sharon Whisnand’s mixed media art may include elements that suggest a landscape or may strictly use balance and color to create abstract patterns. With hand-painted papers, drywall tape, string, gesso, and even hot glue, a work of art is born.
"Sheldon Harvest" measures 10x13 inches and incorporates parts of old letters, a photograph from a 1928 harvest in North Dakota, and splatters of paint that have been sprayed with alcohol and allowed to run. Painted on water color paper. Sold in the frame shown.
This is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art. No prints or reproductions.
